Bill Walsh, General Manager
Bill Walsh oversees the whole operation. He has a long and varied career including extensive client side experience with companies such as Ardmore, Crest Nicholson, Bovis, Henry Boot, Laing/Morrison Knudsen jv and McLaughlin & Harvey: a background that makes him well placed to see projects from a client’s perspective.
He was a last 6 contestant in the CIOB project manager of the year award in 2003 for his input to the conversion of the former hospital at Repton Park, Chigwell and has project managed reinforced concrete solutions of every sort. He has worked on new build projects as diverse as housing developments, hotels, office blocks and a museum, plus many refurbishments including one to the Houses of Parliament.
Jon Hurd, Contracts Manager NEBOSH
Jon joined Anderson Structures as Contracts Manager in May 2007 bringing Project Management skills from a background with contractors such as Strongforce, Structural Systems and specialist divisions of O’Rourke and PCH.
He has extensive knowledge and experience of RC Frames, post tension structures and jacking systems having worked on projects as diverse as West India Quay (32 storey p-t), Severn Bridge (monitoring stressing systems), New International Building (HAL) and Synchrotron (Jacking, stressing works).
